I take it back. Kyle is too dull to be a new crush for Phoebe.

Marigold’s relationship with Phoebe is the result of her offering Phoebe a reward of a wish for saving her from her reflection. Even though she initially resisted because she did not want a relationship with a human child, Marigold has never regretted granting the wish. Kyle’s relationship with his Marigold, so far, has only been revealed as his Marigold say, “Hey, need a lift?” as if she was actually looking for a human child. Had she heard about Marigold’s relationship with Phoebe, and not wanting to be out done, decided to seek out a human child friend of her own?

I am so glad this strip stars Phoebe and not Kyle. And Marigold H.N. and not other Marigold!

Someone should give that bus a good cleaning!

But does your butt smell better than the bus? Your butt can’t be too bad if a unicorn allows it to touch her.

I bet Kyle and Curly Marigold are not big on conversation.

Is it really necessary for this other human/ unicorn pair to be completely uninteresting? “Comedy strip” I know, but what if the joke is that their circumstances are even MORE magical, or involves a bunch of cool stuff that we (the audience) will never see?

I’m thinking maybe Kyle doesn’t deserve a unicorn. . .

You know, I did have a hunch that Kyle and his Marigold might not be as close as Phoebe and her Marigold are.

I mean, it’s important to take notice of your friends’ positive qualities….
