The kid is a dud. Kind of sad, I was hoping there was more to him.

Having a warm back does feel nice.

A guy I know said that his wife wants to get a horse, but doesn’t want to ride it. She would just go to the stable and look at it. So, keep in mind, it could get more pointless.

Maybe he can imitate a tuba without using his mouth.

Phoebe: I’m just saying that we have our own TV Tropes article and have many Heartwarming elements in our relationship.

He almost showed signs of life in the last panel.

Phoebe and Marigold’s relationship inspires me and keeps me hopeful.

Marigold did say they refer to their riders as backwarmers.

I do not think Kyle agrees that Phoebe is awesome, but she does get a smirk out of him last panel!

I like that Kyle’s relationship with his Marigold is disinteresting and passive. It demonstrates that not all relationships, even those with magical unicorns, are going to be sunshine and rainbows.

The storyline’s over, and there’s like 3-4 days left.

Whoever suggested Other Marigold has set this up purely out of jealousy, I think they’re right on the money.

Perhaps they will trade unicorns.

I’m sorry to be a downer on this very nice toon space, but I am SSOOO tired of people being “awesome” (actual meaning: fear inspiring; cultural meaning: ad hoc) because, truth to tell, we are often a lot of things. Awesome is not one of them, even culturally. What’s wrong with being witty, curious, kind, intense, hard-working, etc., etc. Not all at once, of course, but awesome has so much become a non-word.

I’m starting to like this kid. His expression in the last panel show that he knows how to have fun.

The poor horse would worry she’s selecting a wine in her head.
