Making suggestions to improve a process is tricky. Depends on one’s position. Supervisor turned in one that saved the company $30000/year. He got $3000 award. A friend who was a part-time mailroom guy did one that saved the company another $15000/year, He got $150. Won’t repeat what he said, but he quit and went to work for the competition. I got the impression he was ‘highly motivated’ to help them out produce his former employer.
