Gotta feeling that Rosalyn’s “career” as a baby-sitter may be over—at least in that house!

Imagine if she was hired as baby-sitter for Susie. The two would be up all night, commiserating about Calvin!

Don’t know exactly where Cal’s br is located but if it’s on the 2nd floor, then a wedge under the door will save more frustration. That is, until Cal starts banging on the door about every 5 min claiming need to go to bathroom, just to irritate her, which is, after all, his main purpose in these situations.

“mild mannered calvin” where’s he? that phrase was never questioned by anyone in the strip.

All well and good, Calvin, but she’ll never buy reading a book.

Of course, if Calvin thought about it for more than a minute, he’d realize that he is now in bed way earlier than he would have been if he’d behaved in the first place! (But I definitely do get the fun of using his “super hero” costume.)

Unless she bangs her head getting in a window and develops temporary amnesia, Calvin’s “college fund” is going to take a big hit to pay for this outrage.

Yeah, since Rosalyn doesn’t bother with reading Calvin any bedtime stories, Calvin reads the story to Hobbes. Seems plausible… along with Calvin being “mild-mannered”.

Even when I was six I’m pretty sure I would have known not to turn on the light if I was trying to pass myself off as having already gone to bed. And I wasn’t nearly as smart at that age as Calvin usually is.

Alibis only work with people prepared to listen to alibis. Rosalyn is not in that group right now. Right now, Rosalyn is a Fury hell-bent on revenge.

As plain as the extra twenty dollars dad is going to have to pay her to come back again.

Sometimes I feel like I’m the only person in this country who grew up NOT calling my blankets “covers.”

I was packing to move out of state and found 3 Calvin and Hobbs books. I started reading them again and forgot about packing for awhile. It was great!
