I’m afraid that while humorous, it IS becoming a very serious problem in our society. You can’t spend your way, or finance your household finances or especially government spending or financing without contemplating the possibility of bankruptcy. It happened to Spain on two occasions when they were THE Superpower in the 1700s and they never recovered, as no one would loan them any money. Same thing could happen to Brutus or even the US. So Brutus, tighten that belt and cut out a few meals on the road or the diner for lunch and brown bag it instead before your comic strip is placed in the want add section……
