I feel like Nate and Daphne aren’t going to break up. They way they keep emphasizing how everyone thinks she’s going to dump him, it’s going to lead to a bait and switch where she decides she doesn’t give two carps about what everyone thinks because what matters is HER feelings. And her feelings is that she loves Nate, and doesn’t give two darns what everyone else thinks. Thereby shocking everyone’s expectations
