I’m actually only moderately smarter than average. I just have an extensive collection of random trivia on assorted topics, and am opportunistic about excuses to use them.

In short, nothing threatens the marketability of their stories.

Marigold is a multi-tasker!

And I just learned that Dana Simpson can trigger one of my annoyances: Unique just IS (or not), there’s no proper way to modify something that’s unique. You can’t be pretty unique, partly unique, or even entirely unique (without being redundant). Though I guess they could be pretty AND unique.

How do you catch a unique Unicorn? You ’neak up on her! How do you catch a tame one? The “tame” way!

Nearly all bananas I see come from Ecuador.

But wow!. tonight seems to be all about India.

I was just thinking about India and looking at pictures of this Indian restaurant while eating some packaged chickpea and rice masala oven meals.

so I wonder what unicorns do in India in Phoebe’s world?.

I wonder if unicorns would like spicy foods or can they just not forego the sweet taste for just one minute.

Perhaps unicorns from Phoebe’s world in India make foods that are both sweet and spicy at the same time.

I wonder if they wear the fancy and colorful silken clothes that people in India wear and such.

Dana should make a series of strips that show unicorns from around the world and all their unique customs and traditions.

Something like where Marigold and Phoebe travel around the world in like 80 days and it be for some kind of school project or something, because Phoebe has been known to just base everything on unicorns at school.

where they ask her to do a report on the different regions of the world and she doesn’t want to just read about it, so Marigold takes her around the world to see what all the unicorns are doing.

You could have everything from unicorns in Africa who pierce huge holes in their ears and wear lots of necklaces and noserings and such.

And unicorns in Japan who wear special unicorn kimonos and powder their faces and such.

And everywhere in between.

And Phoebe would then have a lot to say about the world, although mostly only about the unicorns of the world.

We do have an interesting variety of bananas in India, but I don’t go bananas over them.

I think that PaHU is my favorite comic. Today’s strip just cemented it.

Phoebe. Last week was a dud. Don’t try to learn anything from it, and just move on.

Actually, many, many years ago, ancient aliens looked upon the Earth and viewed the occupants as total incompetents. They then decided to make the Earth un-icky! Once earthlings discovered the truth, it was changed from un-icky to unique!

Yeah, Dana made me look. I would’ve guessed Brazil.

Sooo, bananas are now a conspiracy theory? Given the source of information.

A quarter of the world’s exported bananas from India. The single largest source. But not ‘most’, not nearly. China is #1 (1/8) and Indonesia #3 (1/13). Fourteen other places contribute > 1% each.
