Unless you are reading something while walking or driving then you will bump into a few things.
How?
This was long before people started slamming into lamp posts etc because they’re reading stuff off their phone.
Reading is Fundermental, of course.
There are plenty of people so engrossed in reading their cellphones that they continually bump into things!
Well she’s not wrong on that one.

I write banned books
If she did bump into things, she wouldn’t get hurt very much because she’s no a speed reader.
With cell phones today, knowing how to read causes people to bump into things.

The TV ads indicate that some new cars now have collision avoidance systems — Perhaps cell phones could add an app to repurpose the front facing camera to flash a warning over the screen if something is approaching ahead.

They put the Pull or Push sign on doors ….. just to see how many people “WILL” try ……. just the opposite ……. to see if it’s true …. ;)

And so it turns out that all the warning signs and labels which litter our world today are not a sign of society’s decay?

What does bumping into things have to do with reading
You can’t read a sign that says “DETOUR” and sail over a cliff…..
