She can hear you boys, and she has a long memory.

Cover the kids and kittens’ eyes. This is going to be ugly.

    Today is:

SPRING BEGINS. Yippee! Now bring on summer! We’re supposed to start spring with a 40% chance of snow. But right now, it looks as if most of it will hit north of here. They can have it!

    NATIONAL 3-D DAY

    NATIONAL BACKYARD DAY

    NATIONAL AG DAY

NATIONAL LET’S LAUGH DAY. Jack and Chesney are doing exactly that, but they’ll be sorry.

    NATIONAL CERTIFIED NURSES DAY

    NATIONAL CHOCOLATE CARAMEL DAY

    NATIONAL POULTRY DAY

It’s hard to believe, but there are signs of Spring here in northernmost Maine. I saw two Canada Geese flying yesterday. I have two pairs of doves feeding off seed I put in my driveway, and there has been a large flock of red-wing blackbirds showing up as well. This may not seem like much, but normally we are still buried under three or more feet of snow this time of year. I’m sure once the ice on the lake goes away my ducks will show up…..and I’ll be riding my motorcycle any day now!

Some cats never learn. I have to go board up the windows now ahead of Hurricane Lily.

Lily can be dangerous and when she gets her paws on you, you boys will be in the ICU for a week!

And poor Annie will have to clean up the mess while Chesney and Jack heal. I wonder if there will be a video.

What’s with these guys? It’s almost as if they want Lily to attack them. On another note, saw six robins, two wrens, a chickadee, a varied thrush, a squirrel and a rabbit while out walking today.
