“Get used to”? Now that you said your name, there’s no coming back from that.
Don’t call me, I’ll call you…..
He’d have to change his voice as well.
He should wait ’til he sees the Stupendous Man signal.
I’m sure that there are times when his parents wish his identity WERE secret.
Not making a mistake and revealing your secret identity is a super power.
Apparently tis strip is before Caller ID, That, or Dad’s law office never bothered to get it.
He’s not too thrilled about being called Dad either.
Clark Kent had it easier.
couldn’t you have just got a confession at breakfast?
Kal-el of Krypton had two secret identities, and people still figured out who he really was.
Even though Calvin can be a real pain, he is a cute boy.
I’m Stupendous Man…….
The phone is more than half his height
You cant get away with calling him Dad when your an only child.
With Cal, being the ‘good guy’ takes some practice
You’re running up your dad’s phone bill for that?!
Kids today would say “what’s that thing on the wall? It has a wire?!”
Welp – it would not have been more important then being at work. (for his dad, of course.)
He should have called him by name. But that made me realize I do not know Calvin’s Dad’s NAME! Or his Mom’s.
Love the old land line rotary wall phone…
I am surprised that Calvin did not make a whopper of a lie up after his cover was blown such as “Dad, our house is on fire!” or something along that line. That might get Pops home a bit early!
Call the police station. “Hi, this is Stupendous Man. Any crimes to report today?”
You never see that happen in the comic books….
Calvin is ALWAYS Calvin-there is no hiding that!
One of the more important things I have learned over the years: the truth is soooo much easier to keep straight.
Let’s ask John Baron.
“Well, do you at least have some patent infringement cases to report?”
Stupendous Man needs work.
Stupendous Man apparently needs work.
Would it have killed him to indulge Calvin for just a minute or two? Memories are made in moments like this. The opportunity may never come again.
Summer vacation does go too long is what Dad is thinking. Like his opinion on homework.
He’s the worst father in the comics-verse, hands down.
Party pooper.
How did Gotham City police commissioner know when he was talking to Batman or when he was talking to millionaire Bruce Wayne on the telephone?
