Um, semantics. The May flowers don’t show up for another month.

The May flowers (which usually bloom in April in the Philadelphia area) were blooming in mid-March in 2024!

Yup! Spring!!

Five days of rain and it might not dry enough for me to mow again before it snows next week.

California sure has seen it’s share of awfully unusual weather! Didja catch the Big Sur roadway losing a chunk of itself? Erosion b / c of saturated soil. Yikes!!!

But I do.

Could be worse. Sometimes it snows in April. ;-)

Well, where I am, we had snow two days ago, followed by two sunny days with warm weather. Followed by the possibility of snow showers tomorrow…

April sometimes does feel like a sentence.

And once more we have a kid in the first panel making a bad assumption.

Here in the mountains of eastern Arizona we got five inches of wet snow yesterday (it melted off the weather station and measured 0.45 inches if water) so the columbines and day lilies were happy until the temperature dropped overnight.

What had been a chilly April rain shower 20 minutes ago, is now a snow squall! GAAK!

Frazz, if that were true, you and Caulfield would be dead by now.

What product does Frazz have in his hair that it is still standing up?

0.09 inches here today… not much on the accumulation scale, but pretty high on te nuisance scale…

I’d say out West where I live we’ve had enough late March showers for our May flowers to start blooming early.
