My uncle, who worked for a large corporation told me that the way he survived in his office for so long, was to keep transferring the papers from the in-tray to the out-tray, go get a cup of coffee and, when he returned, reverse the process. I don’t know if any actual work was accomplished!
Sure fits my first job out t of engineering school. Keeping up with the problems at a 24/7 hot glass operation really teaches prioritizing and how to say no.

I’m sure filling out HR’s employment application will provide more than enough evidence just how far over my head I’m willing to get.
