As an artist I get the impression that Monty has an inflated view of his talent level.

He’s a performative artist.

Need to lower the effort, you look needy.

Artsy fartsy.

So now I’m suppose to believe all those weird looking people I see when I go out in public are just artist expressing themselves? And here I thought they were too concerned with doing drugs and getting tattoos to be bothered with getting jobs. I feel so enlightened.

Keep that up and you will soon have the entire bus to yourself.

Need to get an anteater like Salvador Dali.

Scratching yourself a lot, helps to be a solo seater.

Maybe throw in some deep guttural coughs.

And talk to yourself

Monty had pooled his options and with the purple horse floaty he hoped for an artistic photo finish.

Saw a guy at my gym yesterday who looks like a young Monty. The gym has a no photo policy or I mighta snapped a pic of him.

I bet it’s hard to lean back.

Monty’s aware, of course, that Van Gogh barely sold a painting in his lifetime and died broke?

When I was working at a state psychiatric hospital I used to tell my students about what I called a “bus factor” assessment: If this patient were to board a public bus, how many people would get off at the next stop? That’s his / her bus factor.

Monty you could cut off half your nose and still have some left.

The seat on the bus makes it all worthwhile.

The classic kit worn by a nineteenth century French Impressionist artist included a big sun hat with a wide brim, not a beret. It was important to keep his eyes shaded from the sun so that he could see colors accurately. Of course, swimming innertube was optional.
