Once when I was a kid, I was watching a late late show movie. A commercial came on for an unfinished furniture store and they were discussing a baby dresser, I switched channels and got a chop-o-matic commercial and it was almost seamless. “This lovely mission style baby dresser*click* slices dices and ripple cuts.” I never did finish that movie.
I would make a caustic comment on ads on broadcast tv but since I keep seeing the SAME ads for St. Judes and some Insurance scam over and over on streaming, I shan’t.
My Uncle owned a packing house in the late ’60s- early ’70s. One of the many jobs I had during my summer employment was grinding the mutton for hot dogs and bologna. Came in 50# flats, frozen hard enough to drive nails, I ground up meat, bone and cartilage. The grinder was scary in may ways. To this day I will not eat bologna (Oscar Meyer taught me how to spell it.) unless it is fried hard, hot dogs are split and tortured on the pit.

One big pan and I’m good, for the rest of my life. But, I am thinking a good fire extinguisher would be a good addition to my kitchen.

Sometimes commercials have to be on your TV but that doesn’t mean you can’t mute the sound. (Ads drive me nuts!)

Is it okay to microwave your wiener? I’ve never done it, so just wondering…

Indoors, I find six minutes in the air fryer at 400, then 2 more minutes in the bun is the best.

Haven’t eaten a hot dog in years. I might eat one in the future, but there’s lots of better-tasting (and more healthful) foods out there…

I have been trying to invent a microwave pressure cooker. It should have the food ready in the time it takes to set the table. :)
