By advancing legislation, MAGA Mike is throwing a bone to the GQP members in swing districts, in order to boost their chances of winning in November. He might have realized the crazy caucus malfeasants are all in safe districts, and they’ll be in the next Congress no matter what he does.

‘Wow’: CNN’s Bash stunned as GOP lawmaker rips ‘scumbag’ Matt Gaetz paying minors for sex

CNN “State of the Union” host Dana Bash rushed to Rep. Matt Gaetz’s defense on Sunday after one of his Republican House colleagues ripped into him over accusations he paid teens for sex.

House, Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX ) called the Florida lawmaker a “scumbag.”

Asked if Johnson will survive, Gonzales went off in a tirade aimed at some members of his caucus.

“I served 20 years in the military. It’s my absolute honor to be in Congress, but I serve with some real scumbags,” he continued. “Matt Gaetz, he paid minors to have sex with him at drug parties.”

“Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) endorsed my opponent — a known neo-Nazi,” he then added before ranting, “These people used to walk around with white hoods on at night. Now they’re walking around with white hoods in the daytime.”

And of course Jim Jones helped to cover up sexual assaults and belongs in prison.

I do have to give credit to Johnson on this one thing. He was part of the Putin wing of the Republican Party, sadly that’s becoming nearly the entire party, but he went into the classified briefings, listened and read the reports, and changed his mind pushing the funding through. An open-minded Republican? Will wonders never cease? Oh wait, he’s still going to orchestrate the coup to install the Orange Fuhrer by rejecting enough EC votes to throw the election to the House where Republicans will win since they control more states.
