You won’t like the cookies that they toss.

Just a figure of speech, Cookie!!!

If the Cookie Monster tosses cookies, it will be both literal and figurative.

Cookie Monster might want to become Veggie Monster after this experience.

You might not want them, CM – they’ve already been used.

From chocolate chip to chocolate toss in one easy ride.

But they’re not strictly necessary cookies. They’re probably not even legitimate.

Poor old Cookie Monster is in for some major disappointment. >:’-(

I always loved the Cookie Monster.

I don’t think you’ll want ’em, but you do you.

If anyone there explains to Cookie Monster exactly what that expression means, I’m sure he’ll be quite upset at the way this figure of speech maligns cookies.

In other news, this reminded me of a perfect storm, a situation from many years ago. I was in my friend’s minivan with our wives, coming back from some event. His wife had a loosely covered tray of cookies on her lap. My friend, driving a little too fast, hit a bump and we all went flying, just a little, as did the cookies.

Of course I could not resist saying to my friend, “Tom, you realize you just made your wife toss her cookies.”
