Say the GPS made you do it. Yesterday a car following GPS instructions got onto railroad tracks and got stuck. They got out, but the car was toast after the train hit it! :)
Take her upstairs and go in an hour late after you promise to also take her out for dinner. Nothing important happens in the morning and your work will suffer even more if she files for divorce.
