I had the same delay today – just not that cozy…

They got caught in a cuddle vortex in a Sunday Strip.

On Sunday, Katy complained about Clayton wasting a beautiful spring day glued to his phone games.

Well, isn’t she doing the same herself today by staying in bed?

What’s personified about a dog and a warm bed?

Very cozy.

This reminds me of one of my favorite Adam@home strips that appeared almost 10 years go (The “Gumbo Vortex”). It was somewhat similar to this one. Change the date above to September 20, 2015 and enjoy.

Aww I love a cozy delay! When I got my dog, one of my expected side benefits was that he would be an alarm clock and help me get up earlier since I am not a morning person.

Turns out I got the world’s snuggliest creature who would stay in bed all day if he could.

We have lots of cozy delays.

Happiness is a warm bed and a puppy

Laura also seems to be about 12 years old in the last panel.

Snuggling with your daughter in a warm bed is not the same as playing video games.

I do find it difficult to find a reason to get up when my cat is lying peacefully beside me.

Takes great self control and discipline to break away from that.

I hope that the dog’s bottom is clean. But they pass gas anyway.
