It’s called intermittent coffee fasting. You wash the cup and set it aside after you finish drinking, instead of immediately pouring another cup. I switched to decaf espresso and I’m down to about 10 per day. :)
I used to drink black coffee from when I was a teenager into my first full time job. At first I drank it as was “free” on Weight Watchers and when working I drank it as everyone else in the office was drinking coffee.
Some years into my job and there being changes to just me and my dad (who had taken over my boss’s practice) I decided that my stomach should never feel that bad and I stopped drinking coffee.
