Oops that went a different direction.

Janine: “I wanted pet porcupines, but mom said ‘no’.”

My grandparents told my parents, my parents told us, we told the kids – “If I wanted to yell, I could’ve done that myself”.

The kids don’t want kids of their own, but if they do I am eagerly anticipating the day I get to smugly refrain from saying I told them so after I hear them say it to their own joys.

Why can’t we all just get along?

Mom’s gonna START yelling.

Sometimes, there just no excuses…

Tested my kids once. Told my oldest to “Go upstairs, get all the trash from the trashcans, and bring it all back down here.” Oldest screamed upstairs at the youngest to get all the trash and bring it down. I looked at my wife, and said, “See?” because that’s exactly what I said would happen. The youngest then shouted down from upstairs “WHAT?”. I looked and my wife and said, “See?”… then I put it all in a comic strip, like I was Tauhid or something.

Janine looks like every parent everywhere.
