The funny thing is that Palestinians are also a Semitic people and they are the ones on the receiving end of a genocide.

And yet, you’re alive, you have a high school and college degree, and, hopefully, you have a job. Move on.

I guess I have a hard time with anybody who is ethnically associated with events in another country somehow being held responsible for those events. Like the Japanese-Americans being interred. Or anybody that looks Asian being attacked over Covid, or American Jews or Muslims being blamed for events in the middle east. If you’re so stupid as to associate a Chinese grandmother who has never actually been to China with Covid, you ought to stay home.

Vietnam War should have ended long before it did – Nixon sabotaged the peace talks to help him win election. Reagan sabotaged talks between President Carter and Iran to prevent Carter from getting a “win” before the election, then he continued into the treason of Iran-Contra. BIPARTISAN bill put forward to address border security and funding Ukraine – but Trump ordered his sheep to vote against it even if they had worked on the bill. Again a Repub shows that elections are more important to them than issues and morals and doing the CORRECT thing.

Al, Repubs and RW commenters ignore the far larger numbers of INNOCENT Palestinians killed by Israel’s use of untargeted “dumb” bombs; most victims are children and women. They also ignore the very long persecution of Palestinians including bulldozing homes in Gaza with people inside and the illegal Israeli confiscation of land in Gaza.

Most of the Palestinians are running for their lives. They CANNOT stand up against Hamas. Israel has directed Palestinians to different areas, then they bomb those areas, e.g. Rafah.

What Hamas did was wrong and did NOT help. However, desperation and continual oppression can result in terrorism.

Who started this “war”? It started with Hamas basically executing around 1200 innocent Jews, out to celebrate a good time at a music festival. What did the Palestinians think would happen in retaliation? When will they realize that Hamas is their enemy and not their friend? Hamas is totally to blame for creating this tragic retaliation.

oh, give it a rest already…

Pro-Palestinianism is fine until it becomes Anti-Zionist and as the crowd angers it becomes an anti-semitic free-for-all against any Jews who are handy.

Being against the Israeli government’s actions is not antisemitism.
