Dad, pick up a ball and glove, and show him how it’s done. Take him with you to the Sporting Goods store first if you have to. You can’t just pluck a fish out of water and expect it to live.
The number of times I’ve seen someone get into their car in a supermarket car park, start up the engine and begin to drive off, THEN get out their phone to make a call. Usually big SUV drivers. Numpties. Why not just make your call first, then drive away?
Have you watched people walking in neighborhoods? They are like zombies, head down, eyes clued to their phones. My neighbor is one of the worst. She has three dogs and walks each separately while glued to her phone. I’m waiting for a squirrel to cause a dog to drag her off her feet.

Why torture the poor kid, just put him in a round room and tell him to go sit in the corner. It would be the kinder thing to do to today’s kids.

Mom’s unusual shape makes me think she’s spent too much time watching TV.

Sick, sad world. Imagination, gone. Energy to run and play, gone. Friends to run and play and imagine with, gone.

Well, he is outside, but he may be about as close to playing as he’s ever going to get.
