No Red Alerts For This Red Light

(I pull up to a red light next to a police officer.)

Officer: “You want to race to the next light?”

Me: surprised “Sure!”

(I won! No, I didn’t get pulled over; we were both on bicycles. Possibly the first and only time a police officer has challenged someone to a road race.)

She clearly knows my stepdad.

That explains a lot about some.

Or she’s just being herself. (Sarcasm is her first language.)

Sarcastic, sardonic, ironic, satirical, facetious: Aunty Acid is ‘A Gall for All Reasons’!

The best kind of sarcasm is what I call the slow burn. It’s insulting the person or group without them catching on for a while. It’s sort of like using a firecracker: you light the fuse, but by the time it goes off, you are gone.

Peter the Great did this too. But it was called Tsarcasm.

Well that pretty much covers it Aunty, you don’t like anyone.
