Once or twice, my wife tried something out of a cookbook that wasn’t quite “food”. That’s when I demonstrated to the kids that “I can eat anything”. We all laughed, and that particular recipe was never tried again!
I especially remembered one episode where it was some type of big cockroach they had to eat. Not long after that our son took us to a place in Boulder Colorado (the Butterly Pavilion?) where they had the same cockroach.
Reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes strip, where Mom is seen adding octopus, poison, shrunken heads, compost, etc., etc., into a large cooking pot on the stove, stirring it to taste. The next panel you see Calvin protesting something along the lines of, “I saw what you were cooking! I’m not gonna eat this!” LOL.
Brussels sprouts, mashed potatoes and Salisbury steak. Just the way my sister-in-law makes them. (One of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Great wife to my brother, wonderful mother to her children, but not the best cook. I’m honest with her about the first two, but never the third one.)

That was the primary reason I watch Fear Factor.

Fear Factor, huh? You know, I’m starting to suspect that some of these strips may be reruns. . . .

Vegans, or want to be, are scary! Tofu is to tough to eat. And the impossible burger is to stomach, even if you have 7 stomachs.
