I love it when readers send me messages like this, almost always anonymously:
“I read somewhere that a great comic strip makes a reader laugh, scream or cry. It sparks intrigue, excitement, and perhaps teaches the reader a lesson. That is to say, words like “miserere” or “salmagundi” don’t hover over a crude drawing of platypus’s pancreas. Croutons aren’t bemoaned because they’re lost in a snowstorm. Above all else, stop pretending that you’re cartoonist, Teresa, or that what you create every day is called a comic strip. It’s communal sludge.”
My gut reaction is: “My sludge is my own! It is not communal.”

…Alien dog & dog …
…new on Fox’s animation Sunday…
…one worry I have as A.I. creeps closer to Star Trek territory is the instant translator…
…some Mutt & Jeff will realize that there are perfect opportunities to try it here on earth…
…let’s try it on ants…
…let’s try it on birds…
…let’s try it on dogs…
Oh-hell no!…
…that is a affirmative NO! …
…nobody wants to go there…
…nobody…
…and sad old alien dog just found out that Jeff…
…smelled his…<(alien dog’s) analogs…
…thankfully….
…guest star, The Good Doctor…
…[Whose a good doctor?…
…you’re a good doctor…
…yes you are…
…yes you are]…
…saved the day by using a strap-on an alien anal-probe…
…"I met a man from Mars…
…He picked up all my guitars…
….And played me traveling songs…
…And when we got on ship…
…He brought out something for the trip…
…And said, “It’s old but it’s good”…
…Like any other primitive would."…

From the hang dog expression on that little dog’s face, there appears to be some doubt.

Dark Side of the Moon® by Pink Floyd, should be an album cut enjoyed with Friend’s as The Wall too!
