Is this a lost scene from “Scrubs”?

“Oh, that is a cute observation,” he thought.

I don’t mind the constant narration but the subtitles are annoying.

Is it always in the form of Tom Swifties, though? “‘The prisoner is coming down the stairs’, said the warden, condescendingly.” Or “Let me know when the bishop makes his move’, said Tom, obliquely.”

You mean like in that movie, “Stranger than Fiction”?

I thought it was, perhaps, a trick question – which happens more often than I’d care to admit – and so, reluctantly, I declined to answer…would I come to regret it? Only time would tell.

No worries. I talk in first person, you’re talking in second person and Jimmy here talks in third person. You fit in fine.

Not even wasting time with the “aside glance.”
