I wondered why I appreciated Nancy so much more than usual today. Not that I want to see even Dan’s distinctive version very often; it’s a strip that I almost always like just barely enough to come back the next time. (But I never had much of a chance to see Jerry Scott’s version — I might have liked that better.)

I can’t help feeling Ernie Bushmiller approves. These are sophisticated and yet cute.
