Don’t mind if I get wet, as long as I have a hat on my head. I hate getting raindrops on my head.

Rain shell? Most people have a rain coat. Or is this another latest term I’m behind on?

Explain “Rain Shell”? I can figure it out but just a term I have never heard in my 70 plus years. TIA

Just checked the term ‘rain shell.’ Did not show up in that form. ‘Rain jacket’ was found. However, also found was a listing for them beginning around $150 to over $300. Thanks but, I’ll stick with my old version. Cost less than $50 a couple decades ago, still works as advertised [how rare is that?] and still lists for under $100, if it can be found in stock.

If the weather where Frazz is, is like weather here, rain is a dream yet to be realized but welcome with or without jacket. Central VA 100+ temps for next 3 days, no rain in forecast, BUT ALSO no tornadoes, flooding, high winds. I’ll take it.

Gov. Kathleen Hochul signed into law restricting social media companies from using addictive feeds to children under 18. This legislation is the first in the country. It recognizes the monetizing of children’s social media and the algorithms employed to engage children is causing childhood depression.

I used to live in SouthEast Alaska, after a few weeks the rain is that it is and you just live with it.

My family always used as a metaphor for exceedingly stupid “He doesn’t have enuf sense to come in out of the rain.” That expression may have had its origins in 1841, when President William Henry Harrison (the first half of the “Tippecanoe and Tyler Too” Whig Party ticket) delivered a two-hour inaugural address in a rainstorm, following which he contracted pneumonia and died a month later.

Actually, as hot as it’s been, it feels pretty nice…
