Pam is beginning to see the light ; )

In the good ol days this was time for unconditional spanking kid.

Mary had a little lamp,

Its glow was white as snow

And whenever that Mary went

The lamp was sure to glow

Mary play with lamp one day

She was being a fool

For little did Mary knows

That breaking lamp ain’t cool

“…but mom! Me was testing how strong me brother’s helmet be.”

In space, nobody can hear your lamp scream.

“And, because I love you unconditionally, I’m going to do my best to install important lessons in you… Like the punishment for breaking lamps.”

Perhaps she pushed the car out of the garage and it rolled across the street into a ditch

I expected Pam’s response in the first panel to be, “What did you do now??”

“I love you so much that I will practice behavior modification techniques no matter how much it hurts me to do so. Now bend over.”

(she said with an extremely frowned upon and out-of-date technique in mind)

I didn’t like where it was going in the first panel…

Unconditionally does not mean infinitely

This reminds me of a Calvin and Hobbes with Calvin and his Dad…

She loves you but is not crazy about your clumsiness.

Just remember, just because I punish you, it doesn’t mean I don’t love you.

I can remember the words I heard when I was a kid “This is gonna hurt me as much as it does you”.

I’m pretty sure it’s going to a dark place.

I have this nice book about child rearing, wich I will use to giv e you a sore behind.

Why doesn’t Pam look de-lighted?

Unconditionally answers the question, “In what fashion do you love me”.

The girls question was “How MUCH do you love me.”

The answer needs to be like, “A Mom’s worth of love” or something like that.

Like I always tell my wife and those who are about to have kids……you can’t have nice things while raising children. Not for about 12 years at least.
