The little machine decided to protect itself by setting itself to sleep instead of risking damage because of overload.

Crikey Jon, what did you do to the tech that it’d rather fake sleeping than have to listen to you?

Even Alexa doesn’t want to hear about Jon’s day. Something tells me that Jon needs to put more excitement into his life.

Jon is desperately seeking a kind ear.

Unsurprisingly, if Jon asks Liz the same question, he gets the same response.

Reading this, I thought “I know Jon’s a little off, but he’s gone from talking to his pets to talking to the salt…oh, that’s a techno-thingy!”

It was talking to Garfield and telling him to take a nap. Dilly! Dilly!

Actually, I think it’s time to either trash that device or reprogram it. Any electronic device I own, designed to respond to verbal comments, should have some response, not silence.

Only a matter of time before they are programmed to say, “Uh-huh … uh-huh … really … that’s terrible”. Then who will need spouses? :)

Gives new meaning to sleep mode.

This may just be my favourite Garfield ever.
