Roscoe, you big baby!

My issue is delaminating nails. They’ve been bad all my life but the older I get the more brittle.

Life hack: you can use transparent nail polish to SLIGHTLY ameliorate the cracking and delamination. I’ve tried gluing on layers of tissue paper similar to how fiberglass boats are laid up. No joy for me, but if you find some inexpensive and useful substrate, lemme know, eh?

I’m willing to bet that Opal may have “accidently” stepped on Roscoe’s tail, timing it just right to when Earl went to pat him on the head thus proving her point that his hands are, um…..ruff! Please don’t block me!

Maybe too little or too much moisture? My nails will sometimes do the same if they’re too dry. I use bio oil on my hands and nails and it tends to help.

We didn’t really need the fourth panel. Roscoe’s reaction says it all.

Why or how are his hands so rough and scratchy?

Rough hands come from working … Earl does no work … Happy4th to All !

I just noticed that ‘Pickles’ seems to go against cartoon tradition to give its human characters five fingers, instead of the tradional four! … You may now carry on.

I would think the dog appreciates RUFF hands.

Sorry, Opal. Men don’t do lotions or potions. We don’t like our hands feeling gunky.

She makes it sound like Roscoe has a history of doing that, but I’ve NEVER seen him yelp before when Earl pets him. Which brings up the subject of why a husband doesn’t touch his wife. Like SHE wouldn’t notice the rough hands ? She should be nicer to him, and maybe he WOULD touch her.

After having celulitis you appreciate any kind of cream lotion for all over.

Lube works best.

I’ve heard of lying dogs but doubt it applies to Roscoe in this instance.

My doctor prescribed antifungal pills for my nails. The pills made by Novartis didn’t work but the ones made by Johnson & Johnson did. They’re generic now.

Men, if you want to fondle us, keep your hands soft. Don’t be a wimp.
