Marcus must be pretty darn famous if he encountered so many fans on the way to the bank.

The kid on the left in the second panel? I totally get that.

Anyone else think the person who was surprised at the ATM is the one who stole Marcus’ identity?

I wonder just how long it took Marcus to actually reach a bank employee to assist him?

Just out of curiosity: Do people actually say “O. M. G.” out loud, or do cartoonists use it the way we use it in a text message, to save writing out “Oh, my God”? I personally have never heard someone say “O.M.G.”

Fame would be exhausting

I’m disappointed in him that he seems so off-put by the autograph hounds. I mean I get that he’s there on important personal business, but it seems to me that appearing sullen before your fans is a good way to reduce their number. Cal Ripken Jr. would stay at the ballpark signing until the last fan had gotten his autograph, and — tired as he must have been after a game — was more than congenial throughout.

Just occurred to me, looking this one over again: Marcus is in a bank, and yet he appears to be surrounded by children in the middle panel.
