It is less expensive to manufactory the sase container for different products. So back in the early 70’s military spec spray paint had a paper label. If you removed the paper label you with find some product label on the can. Generally, these cans were overruns and repurposed. So, someone in my dad’s air force unit stumbled upon the fact that the can had a hairspray label printed on it. He stuck it in the women restroom.
my dentist gave me a prescription toothpaste to use once a day that came in a squeeze bottle. One day, I pulled what I thought was the toothpast and put it on the brush. Man, one taste and I knew something was wrong. I looked at the bottle and saw it wasn’t toothpaste but Balneol. Panic time. Fortunately no damage.
