Each time that I see a massive dog, it occurs to my that cleaning up the poop has to be soooo bad.

When our son was born in 1977 he received a big red Clifford. One of his favorites.

Sometimes, the runt is the best dog of the litter.

Who else read the books or watched the cartoons when they ran on PBS?

You should meet his big brother, CLIFF-ZILLA.

Read today’s “Garfield”. Throw it in here with Atilla and the 7-Up spot. Can’t help but think how it would make for a great joke.

In one of the books, we see that Clifford’s dad is a medium-size dog. That has disturbing implications.

My mom used to volunteer at the library of the elementary school in our neighborhood. The Clifford books were her favorites to read to the younger classes for storytime. Clifford was always a favorite character for her. Many years later, when my mom slid into dementia, she was given a plush Clifford dog one year for Christmas. The folks at the nursing home where she lived had the hardest time getting it away from her at bedtime. She loved it.
