In the first panel, Mr. Belmont seems to be sitting on the sofa.

In the second panel, he seems to be standing behind the sofa.

His pants seem to have transformed into becoming a pillow.

Do we credit or blame the colorist for this bit of “magic”?

He’s right though; just like our parents were, and our grandparents were, and our great grandparents were, and our great great grandparents were, etc…

“The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt forauthority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in placeof exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of theirhouseholds. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. Theycontradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up daintiesat the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.”- Attributed to Socrates ~ 470 BC – 399 BC

Just avoid the oldies who complain about “kids these days.” There are plenty nice ones, too.

Now that I am the Old Generation, I can remember my parents saying that about my generation.

I wouldn’t judge the Next Generation Star Trek so harshly…

The Next Generation was stiff and boring compared to the original series.
