I’m no fan of Mr. Trump, but assassination does not seem like the answer. He should be fought in the contest of ideas and the ballot box instead.

This is a disgustingly offensive cartoon. It is totally inappropriate and by the comments promotes the insane hatred that caused the shooter to try to assassinate Trump. Such behavior is un-American and even Biden said to cut out the attacks on Trump.

Only one party these days actively foments violence and hate, and that to a constituency that is armed to the teeth. The GOP contention that the Dems are a threat to democracy and are based on provably false assertions, a classic case of projection. The provably genuine threat to democracy is the GOP and an anti-Constitutional Supreme Court. While all political violence is reprehensible, Trumps demise , the actual subject of this cartoon, would benefit the US and the world.

Just think of all the clickbait ad revenue they’ll be missing out on, since the editorial cartoons generate so much traffic in their comments sections. The mind boggles. Well thought-out on the part of the GC overlords!

The Democrats have a huge arsenal of videos/tapes of the comments by Trump’s sycophants that weren’t exactly flattering! Didn’t Vance compare him to Hitler? The last thing anyone wants is for either side to create martyrs.

If a member of the Trump cult shot Hillary, as Trump encouraged in his Aug2016 speech, truly doubt there would be any sympathy, not even any"thoughts and prayers", the least you could do while pretending to do anything. Like the school shootings, like the GOP baseball shooting where Steven Scalise took one for the team and the NRA donations
