Discount on whole rolls of cloth

Fat cousin Phyllis outgrew another dress. Per Happy Days.

“….And has nearly perfected her first version.”

That’s a hoot…

Given those shapes to work with, she only needs to know how to stitch sacks.

Got her fabric at Cosco. Looks like they buy their food there, too.

Shouldn’t the line be “She makes all our clothes”?

The kids don’t look too happy.

I have Hutterite friends, wish I could get the market on black cloth

B..b…but she forgot the curtain rods!

Reminds me of a row of rental houses all painted a similar shade of green – siding, trim, doors – everything including the painter!

Still hasn’t figured out how to make button holes.

I can remember when my mother would buy patterns and cut out cloth and use her Singer sewing machine to make clothes. (Not for me, thank god!)

When I was 10, my mom’s best friend used poodle cloth to reupholster her couch, and used leftover cloth to make me a vest for Christmas.

My Mom was a wiz a sewing and we were relatively poor, so that worked out OK. “Store-bought” clothes were not something we missed.

What gave it away?
