I think they might have trouble, dragging that ship to the water.

Be quick….Topsiders probably detected all that seismic activity and will probably send Mutts a ahead to investigate.

So, it all circles back to the beginning. Scavenge to survive, mind the baked beans.

    So…

The falling ships, cars, and buildings didn’t go away, after all…

RETCON alert: Was any of this stuff on the beach when Duffy was here before?

I’m pretty amazed at the level of artistic skill on display in these panels. You get to see that every now and then.

This is how it seems to me: a) Wally and Co. pop out the hole as Eden finished collapsing. This was on Top of the cliff (01/27/2024); b) Things started falling from the sky. Wally tells them to head for the beach (he ends up jumping into debris) (02/03/2024). c) Wally (inside a couch after his debris odyssey). Reconnects with Terrance and all, on the beach-at the base of a cliff. (03/22/2024) d) White light dumps the Wally Crew with the Eden survivors somewhere else on the beach (04/14/2024). e) Today, they’ve climbed back up to the top of the cliff, which is where all the debris is visible. The first panel from today shows them walking away from the reflected breakers on the shore, and up an incline to the top (the line is the cliff seen from the top). At least, that’s how it looks to me. Your mileage may vary.

Wally’s optimism is most definitely sounding like crazy for them xD

That ocean liner had lifeboats…and I think (visions not all that great) that I count 42 dots for people on the ground…nice number for Hitchhikers

I’d question the structural integrity of some of those buildings. And is it just me, or does the ship still have lights on? Curious.

The ships may be more Mary Celeste than Titanic. Everything seems to have been just abandoned, with the lights on and maybe food still on the tables. The cars appeared to be without drivers, but still driving. They might all be Lucranian refits, with the Lucranians jumping ship for some reason. Or they could be from a reality that just grexed and the people turned into somethings not apparent. If they’re Lucranian refits, they might be able to use the technology to move them, and Wally can use the dittos.

The “Kon-Tiki” was able to cross the Pacific ocean, and it wasn’t much bigger than the Titanic’s lifeboats.

The buildings likely contain food as well. But power seems to be on in the ship, so some refrigerated food may be available. Cans of food on the ship are likely to be large, which would be good. Be sure to get can openers, knives, forks spoons, and dishes.

Also, in the view shown on January 27, 2024, there was more than one ship falling from the sky. If they are present as well, it is really bonus time. Some of them may have powered lifeboats.

That’s what you get for the 5-cent tour. For the $1 tour, you get sandwiches and a drink.

Last time Wally dealt with a ship stuck nose down in the dirt it didn’t end well with Holly and her ditto induced holoreality

Someone asked last episode what happened to all the ships that fell from the sky. That person got a few answers, but here they are.

I wonder if they will find the S.S. Minnow. It would be appropriate.

I thought I remember some smaller water craft when Wally was bouncing along on the sofa. So we might have some automobiles with working engines and gasoline, possibly some smaller ships that, if in OK condition could be used and if not, their engines could possibly be used on the lifeboats, food, some emergency metal working supplies on the passenger liner and in the buildings possibly first aid/medical supplies and extra clothing along with can food and tools to open the cans with. They could name the ship or boat The Phoenix (The Flight of the Phoenix, a 1965 movie with Jimmy Steward, Richard Attenborough and Hardy Krüger)

I was just thinking. The presence of the ocean liner made me forget there were smaller ships as well. Some may have survived the landing intact enough to repair. Also automobiles. Some may be flying cars like the rich used in the Endtown world before the war. Crossing the ocean may just be difficult instead of nearly impossible.
