Still waiting for them to make a live action Tarzan movie, with a female “Tarzan”, a male "Jane “(”Joel"?) and a Cheetah “Cheetah”.

Just borrowed ‘Tarzan’ for my e-reader. You know, I don’t believe I ever read it. Very interesting so far.

Not just her vocabulary Hammie, but Zoe’s whole demeanor in life.

You don’t have to live in a jungle to be savage…..

That’s not true, Hammie! It’s missing “I’m telling!”

Except Tarzan says “ungawa” not “umgawa”. (And it’s a made-up word.)

But will it work?

I was always impressed by how versatile “ungawa” was. Tarzan could do anything with it!!

The things that one learns from TV ….

Reminds me of a Golden Oldie I recall from my younger days:

A missionary is preaching to a primitive tribe that seems very receptive to his words. After almost every sentence they interrupt with a chant of, “Umgawa! Umgawa!”

When the sermon is over, the missionary’s guide walks him back to his tent. The missionary comments, with some pride, “Well, everyone in the tribe really seemed excited during my sermon.”

“Yes, very excited,” the guide replies. Then he points to a large pile of animal dung in their path. “Careful,” he warns, “don’t step in the umgawa.”
