Especially some Pluggers working their way through a cruise ship buffet line….

Was brought up to only take what you can eat and don’t waste good food ;-)

Considering the size of his belly his eyes couldn’t be bigger

Kitty is has modest breakfast.

“Eat to live, don’t live to eat.” Stoics would agree.

As a kid, if I loaded my plate, my parents would say “Big I, little G”. (Eye, gut).

I see somebody’s been to Golden Corral.

Back when I was in grad school, my family had a picnic and my eldest sister commented about my (lack of) weight. I said, “It’s because my first and only plate was less than your thirds.”

I say that to myself a lot.

Oh, yes, they did, many times — BEFORE they became Pluggers. I don’t even load up as much as I used to. Can’t eat like that anymore, and it’s a good thing because I really don’t need the calories.

I seem to be some 200 lbs shy of being a Plugger.

Just the belt out a couple of notches.

Because nothing is bigger than his stomach?

If you can still see your plate, there’s not enough food on it.

I never went to a potluck supper that I didn’t like!

He’ll be done with that meal in one big bite.
