I can handle two in the morning, and go right to sleep on the sofa.

Seven? Wuss!

Oh my goodness, they are really in a mess!

For some, one is too much because they can’t just stop with one or two … or three … or six …

And that’s why I don’t drink coffee.

For some there is no such thing. My dad was one. He always had a cup of coffee in his hands. He was also narcoleptic, so just sitting down he would fall asleep.

7 cups of coffee would keep me awake for a week or more. I can only have 1 cup early in the morning and I’m getting more caffeine sensitive as I get older. My husband isn’t affected by caffeine that way. He could have a cup of coffee at bed time and sleep just fine. But then he’s a civilian working for the Navy and I swear they are almost required to carry coffee with them at all times.

I make a pot of coffee and drink one mugful. My wife drinks the rest. She’s a night owl who starts work at 7 am.

That’s just a bunch of Bull, red bull!

This one was so funny and described so many of the people I worked with.

Icelanders are the third-biggest coffee drinkers in the world. We drink about 9 kg (19.8 lbs) of coffee per person per year. The US is in 25th place when it comes to coffee consumption per capita at a mere 9.3 lbs per person per year. Verne and RJ should try moving to Iceland (or Finland, which tops the list at 12 kg (26.4 lbs) per person per year).

I started roasting my own coffee beans, my favorite being Bali Paradise Valley, it has deep dark chocolate hints when roasted to the right point.

A creature’s gotta know his limitations.

Too much of a good thing is not good. The boys may not pull themselves together until Monday.
