The GoComics comment forum, especially the Cul-de-Sac page, has always given me immense joy to read, write, get read, liked, replied to, and sometimes get corrected. For the past 8-9 years on this website and on this page, I’ve made many comments and made many mistakes for not being a native English speaker, but I’ve never made to feel terrible about a comment thread as the one under the strip on the 5th of September. As the rules of comment flame war dictate, I should go back and write a scathing response to the last comment on the thread, but I stopped myself from doing it. However, it would give me peace of mind, and I would greatly appreciate it if people reading this comment go back and read the thread of my comment in its entirety (it’s at most 15-20 comments), which is the featured comment for that day. I request you not to respond to the last comment even if you feel the need to. I’d suggest, if anyone is interested, to respond to this comment today with any suggestions towards me if I should’ve been more careful/polite/clear with my messages. As a 37-year-old academic who has been in the profession of teaching/researching in the field of STEM, I don’t mind being wrong or getting corrected; it does not affect my mental health. My intention for this comment is so that no one has to read such responses first thing in the morning. Thank you for your patience. I will now take a hiatus from commenting for a while.
Sometimes adults grow up to be just like the kids on Cul de Sac having their petty arguments. But more often, someone may be off their meds. Show a little love everyone. The only times I’ve gotten frustrated reading my comics has been over political trolls that disrespect other’s rights to their own opinion.
Ha ha, this is a nice callback to an earlier strip (it showed up in the past few weeks) in which Dill mentions that his brothers call him Einstein (when he does something stupid).
When I was a kid about 65 yrs ago, I rode the mechanical horse at the grocery store for a penny. Nowadays there us a store here that has a mechanical horse that is also a penny for kids to ride. And no, I haven’t ridden it but I have seen kids enjoy riding it as I am leaving the store….GIDDY UP!!!

Do they think that Miss Bliss levitates to the store? Or that she doesn’t eat? Or that she can’t have stickers? Opinions?

Is this strip reruns, or is someone else drawing and writing it since RT’s passing?

I would have thought poor Dill would have had enough of flying at the hands of his brothers.
