    It’s a horribly socialistic world. My taxes pay for roads I never drive on, police who have never arrested a criminal who victimized me, firemen who never had to save my house, etc.

    I’m a childless senior. More than 50% of my property taxes go to the schools.

    I’m not sure that public schools make good citizens, but I’m fairly confident that cutting funding for them would not be a good idea.
