Boy….. that was a real Gully Washer of a dream !

No car washes here except those with the rolling brushes. Car is too expensive for that so I power wash it and use my leaf blower to dry it

Brutus has stranger dreams than me.

Next time don’t use GPS when dreaming, Brutus.

He’s even a loser in his dreams.

It could have been worse, in his dream he could’ve been on a motorcycle.

I had a dream that I was a muffler. I woke up exhausted.

I take it he slept through the carwash in real life… :J

At least he got a blow dry before he left.

funny gag, Chip! Although, the dream sounds similar to what we had on Aug. 6…w/o the convertible, of course!

If you drove your car through a tornado, I think you’d be very unlikely to live to tell the story.

Now THAT IS most definitely a nightmare of epic proportions. Was the car damaged in any way? By the way, were you okay?…..

had a dream this morning I got dropped off on the bus driven by my sister at the corner of Tyvola and Nations Ford Rd in Charlotte in the middle of a Tornado Warning. me and somebody there were more concerned about finding something to drink than the weather

We are supposed to wash our cars? I lease. They wash it for me if I bother to get the oil changed. They don’t complain due to my very low mileage when I turn them in. (I used to hand wash my cars at least 3 times a week during decent weather while my child played outside after work/school. I should say I detailed them that often.)

HA! Got me Again! My Grandma came to visit in a dream the other night for the first time in years! It was very nice to see her!

I never thought about going through a car wash being similar to being caught in a storm before, but Brutus’ description of what happens is rather accurate. Just don’t go through one in a convertible with the top down—that can cause all kinds of problems!

That is truly hilarious! And the reason he knew it was a dream and not real life is that the Born Loser in real life would be going through a car wash in a convertible with the top down!

And the question mark wafting up from Brutus’s cup in the last frame is a hoot!

Brutus, don’t ya know you shouldn’t sleep behind the wheel?

Well he got twice the deal. Outside and inside cleaned.

I think he had too much suds.

For Brutus’ sake, I really hope this dream isn’t a traumatic reminder of something he actually did.

Reading panel by panel, I was trying to figure out where this was going — what the punchline would be (kind of like trying to figure out what Pastis is up to when he constructs an elaborate pun in Pearls Before Swine). I was clueless, even though today I drove my car through exactly the kind of car wash Brutus is describing. But at least I can report that my car’s top was up (well, maybe that isn’t so impressive, since I don’t drive a convertible, but I did make sure the doors were all securely closed and the windows were completely up).
