Show me a recovering republican…AND why are republicans so affended when you say something about their false god? Say something about the 2025 Democrat POTUS and I don’t get offended. republicans, the cult of hate and retribution

There is no such thing as a recovering Republican. They have all been excommunicated from the party. There are only Trump Disciples.

Those Disciples actually believe Putin is their friend and that Their Messiah is a Christian who should never be held accountable for any of his crimes, even Treason.

Republicans want a government that punishes their perceived enemies. Let churches care for and educate the people.

It would be nice to have a sane opposition party again.

The Trumpsuckers are so messed up that they use “Republican In Name Only” for traditional Republicans when THEY are the radical extremists who have co-opted the name.

Republican hypocrisy on full display with the usual “thoughts and prayers” after the school shooting. These supposedly “pro-life” pols can’t let anything interfere with their holy gun rights.

“Republicans” no longer exist. I periodically toss out the idea that dems should welcome homeless conservatives to occupy their vacant right wing. However different our points of view, the genius and curse of our system is that they see things we’re blind to and vice versa.

I’m probably one of few Republicans that have my fingers and toes crossed that DJT will actually go to prison for his felony convictions like he deserves. An orange jump suit should go along with his orange makeup perfectly.

The Republican Party began in the 1854 as the Liberal party in the U.S. Lincoln, a Liberal, was their first elected president. Republican Teddy Roosevelt was a Liberal. Democrat Woodrow Wilson was a Southerner, conservative racist. Coolidge and Hoover were Republican conservatives. conservatives called Eisenhower a “socialist”, some even called him a “communist”. The Republican Party had a Liberal wing well into the 1960s, and last led by Thomas Dewey and Nelson Rockefeller. It was Nixon’s ‘Southern Strategy’ in 1968 that began the full conversion of conservatives in the South to the GOP. Imagine the South supporting the ‘Party of Lincoln’. In the last 10 – 15 years conservatives have pushed out all the moderates.

Party philosophies changed. Today the Democrats have what is called ‘the big tent’ in that they have everything from conservatives to socialists. The Republican Party has pushed out even the moderates, all that’s Republican now are conservative extremists to fascists. Today Republicans are the extremist conservative party and the KKK along with other white supremacist groups support Republicans and are led by the fascist tRump.
