That sounds about right, unfortunately, in relation to my relationship experiences of promises made and not delivered. After being what I consider a “two-time loser”, I am determined not to make it three. While there were high-points and happiness to a degree, the bad times were bad enough to totally over-shadow the good. Sigh.
