Oh, Fred, it’ll be over quick. Don’t faint.

You’re okay. At least you aren’t there for an illness. That would be terrible. Cutting nails goes quickly and I certainly hope you get plenty of pets and treats afterwards. You deserve it.

I think I’ve mentioned it before but I shall mention it again:-

There was a Red and Rover strip in which Red told Rover that he had a vet’s appointment. Rover replied, “I like the vet. I like the staff.” In the last panel, he continued, “What I don’t like is the waiting room.” Red replied, “Is it my fault we had to queue up with cats last time?”

Seen a hilarious YouTube with vet assistants demo’ing how different dog breeds react to nail clipping. Funny as heck……

Fred, you know you will walk snd run better, even faster after getting your nails done. Rabbiting will be so much easier ;-)

Sometimes the vet has to give my big dog a “happy shot” to be able to clip his nails.

I trim my Lizzie’s nails once a month and it is always a nightmare!

And taking Fred’s temperature with a colonoscopy like thermomotor.

Fred turns as yellow as the canary.

Our Missy will not let me clip her nails. She only sits still for a trimming from one of the female vet techs at her vet’s office.

Stella, our shibas, was a screamer, especially for nail trimming. You could hear her through the whole vet’s office.

Most pets hate going to the vet, but there is a vet in my neighborhood who must have trained at Hogwarts. Every time I pass the practice, I see calm cats and tail-wagging dogsentering. I have no pets at present, but if I did, this would be my choice.

We walk the mutts every day on concrete sidewalks, so only their dewclaws need trimming occasionally.

That dragging action should e enough not to need a dogicure!!!

Nail trim at the vet? Fred might be right, it could be a trick.

Jax won’t let us clip his nails. But for the vet or the groomer he just rolls over and holds his foot up.

Poor Fred. He needs to learn to gnaw his own nails off.
