I remember when we had to use actual potatoes and stick in the various facial features. That was entertaining for almost a full hour. Then I remembered hearing about “the poor children in China who had no potatoes.” Absurdity and guilt triggered sorrow at a young age, and it persists.

Pink eye, eh? Looks to me like he’s baked…
