Marcie may be watching too many Saturday morning cartoons. There was a cartoon character from the ’70s called the Great Grape Ape. Perhaps the source of her confusion.

Yep, but ‘great grape’ sounds even better…

Saturday school – 2 days after Halloween and the Great Grape, uh, Great Squash, wait – Great Pumpkin!

But the Easter Beagle is real.

I think that’s “pumpkin,” Marcie.

Can you believe that Peppermint Patty, who enrolled into dog obedience school, wants to get into the deprogramming bit with her friend. P.P. knows better that there is no Great Grape! (There might be the great California Raisins though.)

I still remember my “intervention” on pumpkin spice coffee…

I’m just surprised they even let Marcie out in the first place if she’d told them she was going to watch for the “Great Grape/Pumpkin/Squash”.

The methods sound sketchy, but it’s probably for the best to not be a grape/ pumpkin cultist.

I could not give this comic a like, wording it as deprograming is just wrong in my opinion. When they deprogram someone it is not a nice experience.

I just rewatched It’s the great pumpkin and just like back then, it is still a masterpeice
