Maybe Rose’s feathers are a little ruffled now, but she’ll probably appreciate his note sometime in the future when she finds the results of his efforts tucked under her pillow.
When husband and I were in college we were both on the yearbook staff (EIC and Managing editor). We would write love notes and leave them posted on the board in the yearbook office with code names.
After we were married we continued to do so for awhile leaving the messages in our home.
Now close to 50 years later we are never far enough apart to need to send each other messages – together just about 24/7 – if one is upstairs and the other down – that is far apart these years.

Are the winds of inspiration anything like the wind of change down in Gorky Park?

Jimbo fools everyone but Rose. She knows he’s a hopeless romantic. And she loves him.
